Belly Bliss Yoga courses are offered in Hobart and commence regularly throughout the year.

Belly Bliss Yoga: is dedicated to supporting women through the journey of pregnancy, labour and birth into motherhood with the inspiring practises of yoga as the key to health, joy and vitality.  Pregnancy and motherhood is a precious and wonderful time brining many changes to the life of a woman. Belly Bliss Yoga offers each woman the opportunity to honour and nurture herself through this time of transition. The following courses are offered:

Yoga for Pregnancy and Birth: Energising postures, mindful breathing, deep relaxation and connecting with your baby enhance the experience of wellbeing during pregnancy. Practising yoga encourages trust in intuition and empowers you to cope with the intensity of birth.

Preparing for Birth with Yoga: A down to earth and practical workshop for couples to prepare mentally, physically and emotionally for this precious event. Together you will explore positions, breathing and relaxation for the different stages of labour.

Mother-Baby Yoga: Yoga is an inspiring way to bring a sense of calm and balance into the life of a mother. Revitalise your energy, retone your body, take time for gentle nurturing and enjoy peaceful relaxation with your baby. Joining other mums and babies is supportive and fun.

Julia Gibson has been teaching prenatal yoga since 1995. She is deeply committed to encouraging women to approach labour with confidence, trust and a positive mental attitude. Julia first connected with Satyananda Yoga in 1988 and was drawn to the wholistic approach that it offered. She is an accredited level 2 teacher in the Satyananda yoga tradition, has a Diploma of Education through the University of Tasmania and in 1999 completed a course with the National Association of Childbirth Education.
