The teaching of yoga in
the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) field is a marvellous opportunity for yoga
teachers who would like a challenge and who are interested in making a positive
contribution to our community. There are several teachers with experience
in this area who would be willing to assist those wanting to branch out into
this exciting and rewarding domain. Kerry Reid and
Sivagyana are
members of the SYTA Addictions Project Team and
have experience teaching yoga
in AOD centres in Sydney and Wollongong. Sivagyana has also had experience in teaching Juvenile Justice
and
Dept of Corrective Services Centres.
