Yoga & meditation classes are available for people who have or have had cancer. The sessions
provide an opportunity to come together in a peaceful, safe, confidential and
nurturing environment to receive support through discussion and participation in
yoga practices which help us relax, meet the challenges of illness and enhance
our well-being. When we are calm and relaxed we can see the world with clarity
so we can make choices and changes to enhance our health and quality of life.
An important part of the coping and healing process is
sharing feelings, reactions, information, thoughts, ideas, fears and hopes in
whatever shape or form they take with people who share a common life experience.
Sharing gives us the chance to express our feelings, share our load and realise
we are not alone.
