 Are you looking to:

  • restore levels of health, well-being and function?
  • be more of who you are and pay more attention to your physical, emotional, relationship and spiritual needs?
  • realise your potential in some way?

Michele provides:

  • yoga tuition and executive coaching to senior executive management
  • a “yoga2u programme”  providing yoga tuition to individuals or small groups in your home or work premises
  • general public or special interest group classes

Coaching and yoga for senior executive management

Coaching and yoga for senior executive management includes:

Private tuition

Seminar talks and demonstrations at conferences, residential courses, etc

  • Could this be for you?

  • Are you money rich but time poor?

  • Are you are under great pressure to deliver, and have competing demands, fixed deadlines, and are accountable for outcomes rather than numbers of hours worked but still end up working the long hours?
  • Do you typically put your work first and your personal needs last?
  • Do you have a lifestyle which leaves little time to tend to your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs?
  • Are you stressed, anxious, overweight, have tight muscles, blocked energy, poor posture, undertake little exercise, and have stress-related ailments such as bad back, high blood pressure, poor digestion, or worse still, have diabetes or a heart condition?
  • Do you have a requirement to feel that you are continually learning and progressing, but perhaps are not getting that from your work as much as in the past?
  • And perhaps … are you secretly concerned about your performance?

Coaching and yoga tuition can give you:

  • stress management and relaxation techniques
  • relief from a nagging worry about physical health and well-being
  • greater energy levels
  • relief from anxiety
  • more control over your emotional reactions
  • greater levels of clear thinking, concentration and better decision-making
  • better relationships
  • more balance in your life
  • and greater meaning and purpose in your life after leading a life of “doing and performing”.

These classes can be in the privacy of your office and appear like an appointment for a normal meeting.  We will focus on getting your body gently moving and waking up, improving your breathing, and teach you to relax and meditate.  Ideally the tuition time will run for 1.5 hours but flexibility will be available.  If necessary classes can be designed so that you don’t need to change out of your work clothes if you are pressed for time (just take off your shoes).

Cost  By negotiation.

Yoga2u programme

Are you looking to practise yoga but don’t like to, or have time to, come to a group class?  Classes can be conducted in your own home – one-on-one or with a friend or two.  The classes can then be tailored to your individual needs without having to ‘fit in’ to a bigger group.

The “yoga2u programme” for individuals or small groups on your premises includes:

  • Private tuition

  • Small workshops incorporating theory and practice.

Cost

$70 for a 1 hour lesson for one person
$95 for a 1.5 hour lesson for one person
$120 for a 1 hour lesson for two persons
$170 for a 1.5 hour lesson for two persons
Pay ahead for 6 lessons and receive 1 lesson free.

General public or special interest group classes

General public or special interest groups tuition can include:

  • Weekly classes on a casual basis, ie, aimed at a mix of students who attend and pay by the class
  • Term classes aimed at different levels of yoga experience and where students enroll and pay for a set number of weeks, eg, 8 weeks
  • Special needs or special interest classes, eg, a class for seniors, a back-care class, a corporate class, a pre-natal class, etc
  • Workshops in which topics can be explored at a greater depth, eg, from a half day to two days.
  • Seminar talks about yoga, eg, a 1 hour talk on “What is meditation?”.

Michele currently teaches at a range of venues including:

  • through Manly Warringah Community College.  See www.mwcc.nsw.edu.au
  • classes for resident seniors at Belrose Country Club.

Michele is available for teaching general classes, courses and relief teaching in Sydney’s CBD and northern suburbs.

Yoga classes in the Satyananda tradition offer postures, breathing practices and meditation for students of all levels of ability. A typical class:

  • begins with a short relaxation to centre and forget the outside world for a while

  • moves into a series of yoga postures (asana) to relax the body, increase flexibility and remove energy blocks

  • further relaxes and focuses the mind while improving energy flow with breathing practices (pranayama)

  • before integrating and harmonising body, mind and spirit with deep relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation

To make the most of your class, please note:

  • please bring a yoga matt, blanket or towel to lie on

  •  please bring a cushion or two for comfort in the postures

  • please bring a light covering such as a light blanket or shawl

  • wear loose, comfortable clothes

  • avoid heavy meals prior to class

  • arrive 10 mins early to allow time to settle
