Term details


Small personalised group sessions are conducted during school terms.

These sessions necessitate a 6 week commitment from students however timing of classes is flexible in order to accommodate the needs of the group.


Private classes are available throughout the year by arrangement.





Address


The Gum Tree Sanctuary is located in a peaceful garden setting and is attached to the back of the family home.


Parking is readily available and public transport is within easy walking distance.

Private classes (90 mins) $60.00


Group sessions - $120.00 per 6 week term.  (Classes = 90 mins. duration)


                          




 

Type of classes offered


Mantrabindu/ Christine Dods teaches yoga with an emphasis on relaxation and meditation.

Classes include gentle posture work and various breathing techniques to balance energy and ease tensions from the body and mind.

All classes include a 30 minute deep relaxation called Yoga Nidra and meditation techniques are introduced where and when appropriate.


Private classes are adapted to suit the needs of the student(s).

Physical fitness and good health are not a prerequisite for these classes.




Details of Teacher


Mantrabindu/Christine Dods has been living and raising her family on the Northern Beaches for the past 30 years.

She has trained with both Satyananda Yoga and IYTA and began teaching yoga in the community in 1995.

As well as conducting her own classes she has taught yoga for Healthy Lifestyle/Northern Sydney Health Dept. and Manly Warringah

Community College.  She has also worked in retirement villages, senior citizen centres, local schools and the corporate environment.

For 7 years she taught yoga at the Manly Yoga and Meditation Center and she has co-ordinated numerous Relax/Recharge weekend retreats at the Satyananda Yoga Center at Mangrove Mountain on the Central Coast.

She is a Level 2 accredited Satyananda Yoga Teacher.
