Review and recommend ways to support
teachers through a mentoring process and provide support for teachers
who have specific needs/issues in their teaching roles

Promote the teaching of yoga in a wide
range of specialist areas particularly those areas where yoga teaching
is limited and or difficult

Support teachers during periods of ill
health or when needing a break/retreat etc

Assist yoga teachers to prepare for
ageing and retirement

Provide information including
seminars/workshops on setting up and running of a small business

Support new yoga teachers

Review the role of APT in
terms of widening of APT’s operations and examine ways to utilise
APT funding for expansion of teaching into other areas within the
community

Support SYTA members to achieve
accreditation with Satyananda Yoga Academy

Interact with the Professional
Development committee to optimise the training and ongoing personal
development of SYTA members in line with industry standards and best
practice.
