Srimukti believes there is something quite powerful that happens when yoga is practiced in silence, because it makes it possible to explore the parts of ourselves that otherwise pass unacknowledged and unobserved. In an uncluttered and safe environment, instructions are carefully presented so that each student’s attention can be centered on the quiet activity of self-observation. In silence there is room for emotion and thought to evolve, opening pathways to self-understanding and for self-acceptance to be experienced. Silence makes it possible to calm our expectations of who we are in the world and tap into our deeper needs to nurture a greater understanding of self and to grow in contentment.
Srimukti enjoys offering gentle yoga, walking and jogging along bush tracks, practising yoga in nature, reading yoga texts, giving through Seva, playing cartels and singing Kirtan with local community groups. Sri is a graduate student of Yogic Studies - Satyananda Yoga Academy; and completed Yoga Therapy studies level one & two - Adore Yoga.
