PLEASE READ prior to completing this application form:

  2. SYTA Membership fees can be found here
  3. SYTA Full Membership Annual Fee ($75.00) plus SYTA Joining or Rejoining Fee ($40.00) Total: $115.00
  4. Before starting to complete this form, please have the following documents to reference and upload with this application:
    • Yoga Teaching Qualification evidence in the Satyananda system of yoga (either a Diploma issued within Australia or equivalent).
    • Evidence of your accredited First Aid qualification inclusive of HLTAID001, HLTAID002 and HLTAID003 (valid for 3 years).
    • Evidence of your current yoga teaching Professional and Public Liability insurance policy. If you do not have current insurance, please go to Insurance Offering to view SYTA's insurance offering.
  5. Please have your credit card handy!

In joining a professional body such as SYTA there is a requirement to abide by the SYTA Code of Ethics and the SYTA Code of Professional Practice.







Nominations

SYTA also has a requirement that all new members are nominated and seconded by two current SYTA full members.

Please confirm by asking those that are nominating and seconding your application if they are current SYTA full members before completing their details below.

In the event the above nominator and seconder are not SYTA members you will be contacted for alternatives.

Payment

SYTA accepts the following payment methods

  • Visa/Mastercard (preferred)
  • Direct Debit Card online (select EFT)
  • A direct deposit into the SYTA bank account by attending a Bendigo Bank branch in person (select EFT)
  • A direct deposit online into the SYTA bank account (select EFT)

SYTA no longer accepts cheques or money orders as a payment method
