Taraprakash has a long standing love and dedication for yoga, enabling her to integrate the essence of the classical yoga practices into her life. The yoga lifestyle began in 1986, whilst carrying her first child. Three children and 37 years later she has developed a solid foundation in Asana, Pranayama and Meditation and Mantra chanting.
Taraprakash has a love of nature and creativity has established a yoga home and studio in Springhurst where general yoga classes and events are offered.
A large garden with home grown vegetables and fruits, and native plants creates a peaceful quiet environment.
Taraprakash means to guide with light. This name inspires her to teach in a compassionate way allowing students to find their own path within the teachings. This has lead to working within the Correctional system with male prisoners and into Mental Health facilities. Also offering private classes for all levels of abilities.
